HABC has broken ground on a new project; the renovation and remodel of a transitional care center located in San Luis Obispo. OSHPD will monitor the construction and renovation of the project and HABC looks forward to working with the statewide health planning and development organization. Demolition is underway, and the project is off to a great start.

HABC wishes everyone a happy 4th of July! Thank you to all our current troops and the men and women who have served our great nation in years past, God Bless America!

HABC breaks ground this week and has started St Anastasia’s school campus playground. This summer project includes a large steel/fabric shade structure with seating areas for the students, along with decorative concrete flatwork to accompany the new playground. This Fall students will be able to enjoy the new outdoor campus space!

HABC has started construction of Louisville High school’s new campus library. The project consists of a complete interior renovation including all new skylights, floor to ceiling windows that will open to an expanded outdoor patio space, and all new interior finishes. Faculty offices will also be entirely renovated. The project has an ambitious schedule with the goal of completing all work for the start of the Fall semester.

After 4 years of ongoing construction at Nazareth House assisted living facility in West L.A, Cardinal Roger Mahony made a special visit to bestow a blessing on the premises. Habc was delighted to attend the Mass and blessing and continues to enjoy working with the Sisters of Nazareth and Nazareth House.

Chris Hoffman was recently presented with the Patriotic Employer award from Army reserve, Eric Nee. This award recognized  his generosity and flexibility while employing Eric during his reserve military training. Eric recommended Chris for this award because he received such adaptability to his brief interruptions in work due to military training. HABC appreciates and supports our military and wishes Eric all the best of luck in his future!

 

Nazareth School San Diego had Bishop Cirilo Flores officiate the dedication of their new auditorium renovation. Staff, students, and families attended the dedication of the new building which was completed just in time for the beginning of the school year.

HABC hosted it's annual Summer BBQ. The company had a great time celebrating with family, good food and fun. As summer comes to a close HABC has successfully completed our Educational projects and is excited as we begin the groundbreaking at a new Cultural Community Center, an Assisted Living renovation development and continue with our other ongoing projects. Welcome Fall!

Recently awarded projects:

  • 5 Educational buildings between L.A. and San Diego counties
  • Cultural Community Center including build-out of a 24,000 square foot building and site improvements over a 2 acre campus
  • 3rd and final phase of an $8 million expansion and renovations to a 75,000 square foot Senior Living Facility
