St. Pius V

This project was an interior renovation of an existing Catholic church in Buena Park, CA. The project included demolition of interior finishes and installation of new flooring, including Carrara marble from Italy at the sanctuary and surrounding area,  Luxury Vinyl Tile, and carpet throughout the nave. HABC worked closely with the design team to build a custom “cross” shaped baptismal font which is also finished with Carrara marble. Theatrical lighting and lighting controls were installed to highlight the reredos wall behind the altar which features a 25’ x 31’ iconic mosaic art by mosaic artist Stefano, and liturgical furniture including presiders chair, ambo and altar all with inlayed mosaics to match the reredos wall. Other project features include fencing, new front entry door glass and closers.
