Hoffman & Associates Building Corporation was founded by Chris Hoffman in 1978 out of a passion for constructing environments where community life is built, cultivated and shared by many.

Bringing over 40 years of experience to the trade, HABC specializes in senior living, commercial, institutional, educational, religious and healthcare facilities. Our hands-on approach and personal involvement in each project creates a superior product and excellent client satisfaction. Clients recognize us for the pride we take in our work as well as our attention to detail. We are dedicated to getting the job done right and with reliability and integrity. Collaboration is at the heart of our company philosophy at HABC. By working with owners, architects and consultants from conceptual design all the way through permit submission and breaking ground, we are able to help balance the program requirements, design intent and feasibility with construction costs. By continually analyzing project design with the owner and design team, all aspects of the project are scrutinized so that once the construction documents are complete potential change orders are mitigated prior to ground breaking.

Value engineering; both value added and deductive alternatives
Clear vision for logistics and phasing

Our Construction services include:

HABC project managers and superintendents effectively communicate and manage the project
Schedule by conducting regular meetings with the owner, architect and construction team
Award subcontractors and release long lead items expeditiously
Develop a sound and safe site logistics plan
Establish phasing and site procedures as required
Utilize our expertise to forecast potential problems
Diligently manage all construction documents
Implement state and city environmental requirements
Coordinate with city building officials, special inspection services and utility companies
Provide prompt project close-out

Post Construction

Our focus is on building a lasting relationship with our clients.

HABC recognizes that not only is it important to deliver the finished project to an owner in a timely manner but it is equally important to follow up and continue to work with our partners after a project is complete. Post construction services are critical to ensure the client is happy and satisfied with their new facility.

We provide the following:

Operation and maintenance training for all products and equipment installed
Management of all post construction warranty issues
Rapid response to mechanical or electrical adjustments to installed systems
Post occupancy improvements or modifications

HABC is committed to health and safety on each and every project site. We work to maintain an environment of common sense and logic in our construction operations. By following guidelines of our company Safety and Wellness Program, our goal is to ensure the well-being of our tradesmen, visitors and general public. Our job site safety protocol includes the following:

Contractor sign in sheets for job site security
Require of proper personal protection equipment/apparel for all workers and visitors
Conduct bi-weekly safety meetings
Provide construction fencing and cone delineation to eliminate potential risk to pedestrians
Establish optimum material delivery zones, work hours and traffic access tailored to the specific project site
Inform all tradesmen, management, personnel and visitors with the understanding of current operations and related risks when present on our job site.
